SERVICES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Project:

Funded by the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), the project focused on undertaking a study on the contribution of services, and services trade, to different aspects of sustainable development set out in the Post-2015 Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Objective of the study is for policy-makers to be able to understand the generic potential contribution of each services sector to their own sustainable development priorities and the opportunities and challenges of increasing the sector’s exposure to trade in terms of the impact on those priorities.

Services provided:
* Conducted research on the role that services and trade in services play in supporting the attainment of sustainable development goals (SDGs).
* Co-authored the report ‘Services and Sustainable Development: A Conceptual Approach‘.
